Mobile
At launch, BlitzPulse on mobile = the responsive web experience — the same site, optimized for phone and tablet viewports. A native iOS / Android app is on the Phase 2 roadmap.
What works on mobile today
- Full sign-up + login flow with WebAuthn (Touch ID / Face ID).
- Schwab broker connect (OAuth opens in a system browser, returns to BlitzPulse).
- Dashboard, portfolio, alerts, recommendations, settings, billing.
- The TA Comprehensive Layer — auto-downgraded to L2 complexity so the charts stay readable on a phone.
What’s coming with the native app
- Push notifications (delivered today via web push where the browser supports it; native push lands with the app).
- iOS home-screen widgets (top movers, P&L glance).
- Background refresh.
- Better chart performance on multi-pane views.
Why no native app at launch?
We made the deliberate trade-off documented in our Phase 0 launch PRD: the responsive web experience covers ~80% of the value at 10% of the engineering cost. Once we have product-market signal at the web tier, native development begins.
What’s different on mobile
- Single-pane layouts — the desktop multi-pane chart collapses to a carousel.
- Complexity capped at L2 — higher levels are unreadable at 375px width. Settings have a “let me unlock anyway” toggle behind an explicit “this will be unreadable” warning.
- Bottom nav instead of the desktop top nav.
